Perfect Pear Table Centerpieces

My sister and her husband are the perfect PEAR! Love them both and now that has been said lets look at their creative wedding "Perfect Pear Table Centerpieces".

 

The pears were purchased...6 for $5 with coupon at Michael's.

The basket was purchased at Pottery Barn.

The hay was purchased at The Hay House.

The card stock is the same as in the previous wedding posts printed from home for FREE with a printer HP 2600n.  

The center "Addison" glass candle sticks were purchased at Pottery Barn. 

The candles were purchased at 100candles.com. 

Total cost with coupons was $90 per centerpiece. 

WOW, costly, maybe, but who can put a price on the "Perfect Pear".

Terrarium Table Wedding Favors

My sister is so creative...who would have thought to have a terrarium floral table at a wedding?! 

All I can say is...Absolute Gorgeousness!! 

I love, Love, LOVE the butterfly and leaf cut outs! I don't think, I would have the patience to cut those out! :)

The apothecary jars were about $7 each at Home Goods. 

Rose petals were purchased at Michael's. 

Floating candles were purchased at candles.com, 

Plants were $1 each from the local produce market. 

Ribbon and printable tags were from Michael's clearance with a 40-50% off coupon and a 20% off your entire purchase. (That was a WooHoo moment, lol!!)

Tags were made on Microsoft Word for FREE! 

I love FREE!!

By the way, Good Friday is the best day to shop for these items. 

So happy shopping, crafting and remember this is a party focal point for any occasion.

PRICELESS Wedding Wish Table Photo Boxes

My sisters wish table photo boxes were simple, elegant and timeless. The photo boxes were illuminated with battery operated tea light candles inside. Black and white pictures were inserted in the ivory painted windows boxes. Guest cards of pearl metallic card stock with miniature pens from Staples were on the table for people to leave a special guest wish messages. 

A Canon 7d was used to take the family picture with a remote and IPhoto helped to convert the photos to black and white for FREE.

Photos were 10 cents a piece at Costco.

Boxes were $2 with a 40% off coupon at AC Moore

Card stock was ten dollars for 100 sheets at The Papermill Cardstock Store.

Tea lights were $10 for 40 at Costco.

Total cost of project per box was under $3 a box!! Now that is what I call PRICELESS!!

Goodwill Hopping

I am so excited about these bunnies that I found at goodwill for only $12.50 a piece.  Now if you promise not to laugh, I will tell you how I bought them.  I have two Goodwills in my area.  This morning I went to Goodwill #1  (bought a $15 rocking chair that I will share in another post) then drove to Goodwill #2 then drove back to Goodwill #1 which is when I found these adorable bunnies.  They were only on the floor a few minutes and so many people complimented me on the great find in line and the parking lot.

Nothing like these cute bunnies to put me in the Springtime mood.  I absolutely love the fact that the bunnies are the same size of my little guy.  Can't wait to take his picture next year and see how much he has grown!!  The best part is that we have been planning to have an Easter party which I think these bunnies are going to make a great focal point. In the mean time, don't be afraid to hop from Goodwill to Goodwill, you never know what you may find.

Honey-Cinnamon Banana Cupcakes

"Milk, Bread and Bananas"

My little guy is a huge Curious George fan and LOVES bananas! With that being said, bananas are a staple food in our house.  It seems like every time I go to the store... I buy milk, bread and bananas.  And every time I make banana cupcakes, I create a new fabulous recipe. 


This recipe is by far... one of my neighbors (aka dog walker, cupcake taster and friend) and my favorites!  Banana cupcakes filled with banana cream and topped with honey-cinnamon frosting and walnuts...DELICIOUS!!


Who wants to create some "Sweetened Memories" with these cupcakes served at a Curious George Birthday Party?!  I know I do...

Nana's Carrot Cupcake

Every holiday, I get very home (Jersey) sick and nothing makes me feel better... then baking one of my family's sweet recipes. This past Easter, I decided (for the first time ever) to go against family tradition and NOT make a carrot bunt cake. Instead, I made carrot cupcakes filled and topped with cream cheese frosting. Ahhh...Just the smell of these carrot cupcakes baking reminded me of my Easter childhood "Sweetened Memories".

My little guy gets very excited every year planning teacher appreciation gifts.  This year he decided that his teacher and other Northwest Arkansas teachers would love a JUMBO chocolate cupcake filled with hot fudge topped with vanilla frosting, walnuts, rainbow sprinkles, more hot fudge and a cherry on top! 

I think he was right...his kindergarten teacher loved it!  Compliments to my little guy for helping me create "Sweetened Memories" for teachers on their special day.
